New Alpha Amylase Inhibitor
Marcor Development has introduced Alpha Trim-W™, an amylase inhibitor with 3-6 times the strength of bean-based starch blockers. In standardized tests, Alpha Trim-W, which is isolated from wheat protein, inhibited up to 90% of amylase activity. It slows the digestion of starches in the stomach and intestine, prolonging the sense of fullness and reducing caloric intake.
